Why Can't I Get Them To Do it?

The simple answer to this perennial lament is because without the right environment they won't and you can't make them.
But - you can get them to want to.
Every manager can instill purpose, authority, and knowledge which causes individuals to take resonsibility for their work. It is this environment and the resulting personal investment and ownership that can produce extraordinary results.
